Call me crazy, but I can't wait for the temperatures to cool off. One, because I'm hot-blooded and two, because I can't wait to pull out my fall and winter clothes--coats included.
Living in the Midwest where temperatures can dip into negative territory, having outerwear that is both fashionable and functional is key. I think the two looks above would meet both those criteria.
