'Twas Casino Night Before Christmas

Friday was our company Christmas Party. The theme was "'Twas Casino Night Before Christmas." The Millers had a fabulous time, shown here via photo evidence:

The party was fantastic--appetizers, drinks, meal, blackjack, dancing, photo booth (obviously), and a raffle. We won a crisp $50. Which I may need, after falling on my way to the car--soberly--after tripping on a huge landscaping rock. It was dark! I really marred up a pair of my favorite shoes. A sacrifice to the party Gods, I guess.

On our way back home (my company put us all up in a hotel for the night) Saturday morning, we had breakfast and coffee; did a little shopping; and stopped at the Brass Armadillo, a huge antique mall. There was so much to look at. I ended up coming home with a white ceramic horse statue, a vintage painting, an old Polish cigar flag and Scott bought a vintage martial arts movie poster for his friend.

It was a great way to kick-off the last weekend before Christmas. And now it's Monday and CHRISTMAS WEEK! I'm looking forward to the week and hope yours is "merry and bright," too.
