Hello, Monday

Hello, Monday. Please be good to me.

While I'm not quite sure what this day holds for me (other than work), I can say the weekend was good to me.

The garage sale was successful. We were able to sell all the large items we wanted to get rid of (read: didn't want to have to find a way to haul them off). And, we sold quite a few small items as well. Anything that remained was loaded into the vehicle and taken directly to the local Goodwill. The day was pretty chilly, but I bundled up and braved the driveway with a cup of McDonald's coffee in-hand. Once the sale was done, I relaxed and napped a bit and then we ended our day grilling steaks and drinking a glass of wine by the fire pit.

Sunday started off with church, then homemade strawberry pancakes. I spent the rest of the day cleaning and organizing. Which only left me making plans to do more cleaning and organizing. Hmm? It must have something to do with the change of seasons. I think the change makes me want to refresh things around the house.

My goal this week is to be as productive as I was this weekend. I want to get through some tasks on my master to-do list. And with that, I'll end with this thought: "We can do no great things, only small things with great love." -Mother Teresa-
